Day 24- your favorite food Day. So yesterday, I had to go with a friend into the teacher's lounge to help her heat up the food that she brought for an english project when I spotted my art teacher Mr. Phelps. Now, I've known Phelps since I was about 5 because his daughter and I have been best friends since about kindergarden, so he's kind of like my adopted dad. Anywho, we walked into the teacher's lounge and the most wonderful aroma hit my well-trained nostrils and I immediatly started to drool. Not like dribble down my chin drool, but drool none the less. There laying in front of him on the table was a half demolished Subway meatball sub on Italian herb and cheese bread (my favorite) with tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, pepperjack cheese, bannana peppers, and green peppers- all the exact same things that I get on mine. And even better, he got the samwich toasted. Even better, he got chips with it. Even better still, it was cheese-flavored sun chips- exact same type that I get. I immediatly forgot all sense of manners and bounded over to Phelps who tried to start up a conversation with me because he thought that I was happy to see him based on my lit-up face showing pure joy and ectasy. He saw the real basis of my joy though, when I reached down and snagged a chip and tried to take some of the sub. Now, for an old man (that's what I call him, I don't think he's even 50), he has exxxtremly fast reflexes. Or maybe he's just very protective of food, I mean he is a guy. Anywho, he smacked my hand away before I could close my fingers around a glorious piece of the glowing samwich. My belly has been growling for it ever since that experience, and nothing can contain my belly or make it happy until I inhale a Subway meatball sub- the best food in the entire world...
