A beautiful talent

As usual, I've been swamped with homework lately and instead of continuing to take notes for Psych, I'm going to procrastinate a bit. It's a great talent of mine.. So a few days ago, I switched out the furniture from the boy's room into my room because mum and dad were trying to clean it out and turn it into a nursery for Kira. They said they needed somewhere to put the furniture and I was like more room for clothes? Uh yeah I'll take it!

Excuse the paint colors, I haven't changed it since like the 5th grade hehe. After trying to organize my clothes and started to put them away, I scavenged through them again to try and get rid of some. Surprisingly after my first escapade of spring cleaning, I managed to fill up about 3 bags worth of some clothes and shoes. I'm in serious need of some pants, shorts, and summer tops now, but all well. And while cleaning out clothes, I decided to clean out some of my junk too. All of the painting and stuff that I have hanging around in my room were made by one of my sisters back in high school and they were hanging out in storage in the attic forever. Being a lover of arts, I knew it was horrifying to let unprotected canvas hangings stay in the humidity-filled, squirrel infested, junky attic. So, I rescued them. I also had a few of my things too, but I don't like any of them. I like art a whole lot, but compared to her stuff...
This is my type of thing. In my 3-D art class in high school, creativity was encouraged which was a nice break from all the other classes I had. The first one was a project where we had to create a monster and have a story go along with it. Being the science buff that I am, I named my Prokar (short for prokaryotes)the Perfect Present. Long story short, it was a gift people could get for people as a last minute thing when they had no ideas. The gift turned evil and this monster was created. Sound stupid, but the story was epic. I'm going to have to see if I can dig it up anywhere and download it... The other project featured is where we had to make something out of stuff in a box. This was a pair of toddler shoes that I cut, glued, stabbed, and stapled together to create Jonah and the Whale. My favorite is the little lego guy in the middle with cotton ball hair and a toothpick staff haha.

This is from my 2-D art class, the first actual art class that I've ever had. I was always a 3-D girl, and never had to actually draw or paint stuff. It was super difficult. What is even better is my 3-D art teacher  recommended me and so they put me in like an AP class. I hadn't learned how to shade, draw faces, grid or whatever it's called. Ugh.. hardest thing I've ever had to do. This one was supposed to be realistic where we had to do something about 2 people... I don't remember. I didn't like it much. But I picked some random old guy which looked waaaay better in the actual picture I found on the internet, and I did Gandalf as the other one. I'm quite proud of Gandalf actually. I mean for someone who had never drawn anything in their entire life except for unrealistic penguins, it's pretty damn good.
Finger painting on the other hand, I must say I excelled lol. This is more my territory. Except for the road, I totally screwed that one up. But I'm going to have to feature some of my sister's paintings on here because they are absolutely beautiful.
