After going through all my makeup and experimenting with it, I realized that some of the products really aren't that fantastic. I might be using them in the wrong way, but here are some of the products I'm not very satisfied with.
1. L'Oreal Paris The One Sweep Eye Shadow
I now realize that it's meant to be for blue eyes. I didn't know you were supposed to peel off this thing on the back to look at it, but yeah... I have green eyes. I can see why it doesn't work for me now. Although, I will take my own little blush brush and dab it into the brown part and the peach part to create smokey eyes. The thing I'm most disappointed with though is the brush itself. It doesn't pick up very much color, and doesn't blend well together or go on very well. I always end up and just have to create smokey eyes the old fashioned way. Although, the colors are very pretty and I like the concept that they came up with.
3. Maybelline Color Sensational Lip Stain in In The Buff
This didn't have very much color in it at all, although it is a beautiful color none the less. I was able to use it twice before it ran out. I would even store it with it pointing down so that the liquid would hopefully run down towards the tip, but that still didn't help. Also, it didn't stain my lips at all. I would apply it and it would look nice, but parts of the felt tip would fall off and lay on my lips and even after I waited for 5 minutes to try to let it dry on, if I did the napkin test, all of the lip stain would come off onto it.
4. NYC Cover Stick in Medium
This product also flakes onto my skin. It doesn't spread evenly at all and rubs off very easily. I don't have dry skin, but this product makes it look like I do. I like the price for this though- less than $5.

2. Maybelline Dream Mousse
This foundation doesn't go onto my skin very well at all. When I try to smooth it on with using my fingers, it flakes onto my skin and doesn't spread out evenly. When I try to use a foundation brush with it, it goes on too thick and doesn't spread evenly at all. When I try a combination of the two, the result still isn't anything near what would be socially acceptable for what a person's skin should look like.
