Last Memories of TJ Maxx

Last things I will ever buy from TJ Maxx while an associate :(

Back to School Shopping!

I couldn't help myself.. I went to Plato's. Every time I go in there I always find something amazing. This time, I found a little bit more things than just something, it was a total shopping spree. The best part? It was all like $100! That sounds like a ton of money, but I got 8 pairs of jeans, 11 tops, 4 dresses, and a pair of heels to name a few things. Jeans alone are usually like $40 a pair, so 8 pairs and all that other stuff for $100? Not a bad trade off. I was never one to go and get new things just for the sake of a new school season, but I really do need jeans. Today is my last day at TJ Maxx which means I can actually get rid of some of my "work" clothes and wear things that I actually like. The dress code is no denim jeans, no sleeveless things, no dresses, shorts, anything the least big baggy or long, and we have to wear flat shoes. I can understand all of that because it's a work place, but the previous managers were very particular about what we looked like, and if I wore anything that resembled a normal 20-something year old attire, I got called homeless. So I basically had to go and spend a whole paycheck on fancy sandals, tailored pants, and very dressy tops. Basically, I'm getting rid of everything as soon as I get off today because I'll never wear any of it again! What a relief! So, acting like a rebel against them and trying to find things that represent me and things that I like again, I went on a mission in search of jeans. And I found a ton! Usually it's so difficult to find jeans that actually fit well, but this time was different apparently. And I found sleeveless tops and dresses! Ha! I feel like I'm sticking it to the man!
