Day 18

Your Favorite Beauty Guru Day- I was really bored one day and was trying to get some new fashion ideas. So, I  decided to check out some of the other fashion blogs on blogger. One of my favorites is called The Sartorialist. It's basically just street style outfits from all around the world. It's a great way to look at outfits from a new point of view..

Just in these few pictures, there's inspiration for big, chunky, winter outfits, wedding, summer, ways to paint, color coordination.... there's so much. I love it.

A few new buys..

I haven't had very much spending money lately, but I have made a few new purchases. Most are from my work (of course). And I assure you that I'm not overflowing with money lol, everything was on clearance basically.

My camera isn't really the best, but it does it's job lol. The top shoes are a caramel suede bootie by Unionbay in size 8. I got them for the price, but I also had been eyeing them for a few day, and each time that I saw them, the more they rubbed off on me. It has a high heel- around 4- 4 1/2 inches, but I can't even tell because the heel is so thick, it helps spread out the weight on the whole foot instead of a little stiletto heel. I'm quite satisfied with them. The white dress is by Love Fire in size small and it actually has an intricate lace pattern all over it. In the back is an exposed gunmetal-gray zipper that goes down about half the back. It hugs the body, but in a really flattering way. It's not too short either which helps make it not... as exposing. The blue heels are by Steve Madden and I'm absolutely in love with them. they're another chunky heel and made out of suede too, but they're so comfy and have a really urban and chic look to them. I adore them. The nude heels are just a pair of Mossimos from Target. I didn't own a single pair of nude heels before this purchase, and I decided that I should get some sooner than later. They go with absolutely everything, and maybe my new favorite pair of shoes. So comfy too..  And last, the sequin dress is by Kantagious in a size small. It has an intricate sequin design all over it too in a blush tone. It's short too, but it's so cute! It's short, but because of the cut of it, it doesn't look slutty basically lol. I'm quite happy with these purchases.

Quick Update

I know it's been forever since I've posted, but I've been so busy lately. It seems like there's always something or other going on. We didn't have school on Friday because it was a teacher development day which means all the students got to stay home while the teachers went to school. So my Friday consisted of spending most of the day at Boyfriend's, going to Evansville with a couple of my friends, my Grandparent's 61st wedding anniversary, and eating out after that. It was a long day, but still one of the best ones that I've had for awhile. Today, I went back over to Boyfriend's to help his Dad move some of his stuff out, but his Dad wasn't even there by the time I got there. His Dad is getting back with his ex and moving in with her and Boyfriend and 4 other guys are going to take the house, pay his Dad rent for it, and turn it into a bachelor pad basically. Well... a very cheap bachelor pad lol we're all very poor at the moment. Anyways, 2 of the guys moving in... I don't really get along with them very well, and I've known them both forever, but I'm going to have to try to get along with them if I want to even see Boyfriend. So that's been the excitement and stress for about the past 2 weeks straight- that and lack of money. But, enough of stress and negative talk. I've been great overall and I'm still working at T.J. Maxx (thank God), and I still love it there. Just wish I could get some more hours like I had during the Holiday Season...
