Presents from a loved one

Boyfriend and I have been together for over a year, and known each other for about 4. Our relationship is serious, but also very laid back. Let me show an example..

These are my presents from him the past month. Actually, the green tommy gun was given to my last Christmas by my parents, by the blue and orange one? Yup, that's from him for my birthday. And the light saber? Got that one for Christmas, blue of course. Let me say, he gives the best presents ever. I hate being spoiled, but he still finds ways to. I'm addicted to chapstick (mint flavored and Nivea), and when money was tight for me, I wasn't able to afford my addiction. Next time I saw boyfriend, he surprised me with chapstick. He now gives me a new chapstick weekly so I never run out. And one time I was having a bad day at work, and when I got off at close, I walked out to my car. There on the windshield was a big jug of apple juice (my favorite drink) and a Wal-Mart bag hanging off of the passenger side mirror thing that contained a stocking full of dog toys for my dog. And another time when he had to work the 12 hour night shifts, he came over and saw me in the morning after he got off, like 7 in the morning, holding a Wal-mart bag and about to pass out. He cooked me breakfast; An extra-cheese omlette and a glass of expensive apple juice. I could go on and on abut how much he does for me, but the bottom line? Dang.... I'm spoiled.

X-Mas and Sister Haul: Extreme Pic Heavy

A couple of posts ago, I mentioned how I had been collecting a few pieces here and there and also my sister and I traded a looot of clothes. So, here's all the pictures!
First off, I noticed that my closet was beginning to get a little bit too full because I had to reside to hanging my clothes off of one of my shelves too..

That's when I went through my closet trying to decide on which pieces I will wear over and over, and which ones to get rid of. I had worked up a surprisingly large pile which I handed over to my sister. She in turn handed me a bag of clothes she was getting rid of as well. It was amazing..This is by brand So in size medium. Re-cap

I'm not for sure what has happened since the last time I was able to write an actual post. Christmas? And my birthday? I'm quite sure I've rambled on for quite some time about my job at T.J. Maxx, but just as a quick overview, I love it. Yesterday was a successfully crappy one though. I was fine with working for 7 hours and fine with working until close; I was even happy that I was able to be the cashier. What didn't go well though was that it was the day after Christmas and there was always a ton of people. I'm fine with lots of people, what I'm not fine with though is that everybody else gets stressed out extremley easy. After about 4 hours, I was ready for a lunch break. I tried calling Boyfriend to see if he wanted to get something to eat, but he didn't pick up. I tried calling again. No answer. I started to laugh. Just that morning he had gotten onto me about not answering my phone. I drove over to his house anyways to scavanger some food and was met by Caitlin. Caitlin is dating Timmy, and they used to be a part of the group, but they alienated themselves from everyone basically. Everyone keeps on saying that they're done with them and that treated them like poop, but yet for some reason, they still tolerate them. So, it was an awkward 20 minutes to say the least. Anyways, when I got back to work, they had me move to taking car of the back half of the store because the girl that was supposed to do it called in sick, the back up girl for her didn't show up, and the other girl quit. So I was the last one. So on the first time that I do a different job, I had to make up for the first 4 hours lost of when a person wasn't even there. It wasn't fun. But enough of this talk, I feel like I'm just complaining more than anything. What else happened.... Christmas!! Christmas was amazing. I had to work Christmas Eve, but I was still able to go to my Grandparents when I got off and saw them for a few hours and finally saw a Christmas Story all the way through. Christmas morning, I woke up extra early and went to Boyfriend's house to do their Christmas. He got me a LIGHTSABER! Blue and everything! It's amazing because its not one of the cheap platic ones where you have to fling it for it to extend. Its already extended out, and when you press the button, the lightsaber noise sounds and the whole thing lights up and it makes noises when you hit something and when you whoosh it around... it's amazing! Besides that, I got about 5 cookbooks and a pillow pet. Haha a very strange Christmas haul this year, I must say. Besides that, everything has been very good. Boyfriend and I have been together for a year and two months on Christmas, I don't have to work for like 3 days this week, and no school this week either! Bwahaha! It's been very good. Hope everyone had a happy holidays!

Day 12

Day 12- Your Favorite Color Day. My favorite color is blue. No, I'm not a man. No, I'm not always sad and depressive. I just love blue. I'm not for sure what it is about that color, but I'm always drawn in by it. Maybe it's because it reminds me of the ocean, a place that I've visited very few times, but will always frequent my dreams. Or maybe it's because it reminds me of blue skies in the summer, when I was younger and could waste away the whole day in it's ways. I'm not for sure, but my favorite color is blue and has been for quite some time. It helps that it looks really good on me too. :)

Day 11

Day 11- Bag You Want to Have Day. The Fendi Spy bag, only furry.


I've had the current obsession with fur lately, and still don't own anything fur-related. I've wanted this handbag ever since I knew that Fendi even existed. So I thought, why not just combine the two? I'm terrified to try to find the price of this handbag because I know that I'll never be able to afford it. I'm fine with just drooling over it. For now... There is also another handbag that I want that I saw at T.J. Maxx yesterday and I can't get it out of my head. I've been wanting it for over a week and always keep going back over to the little table to check and see if it's still there. I got a few things from there yesterday, and may return a pair of boots and exchange it for the purse. Or maybe a different pair of boots... Ugh I reaaaaalllly need to save my money. I've been trying so hard and I save about 80% of my paycheck for college, but I still want to spend it on clothes. Oh.. wonderful clothes.. How I love thee... I need to change the subject, or else I will get up and head to T.J. Maxx to get that handbag!

Day 10

Day 10- Current Fashion/Style That You Like Day. I've currently acquired a pair of cargo pants. Finally. Not the big, baggy type- the type that was in style like 2 years ago. I've wanted a pair ever since they were first featured, and even thought they're not still in style, I jumped at the chance to buy them while browsing through Target. What's even better? They were on sale for $8.00. Doesn't get much better that that. Although, I did find out that I've lost some weight. I'm not one of the stick figured people... I'm teeny on top, and big on the bottom- pun intended. Anyways, so with a large bum comes large thighs. I'd be lucky if I could fit into a size 5 pair of jeans. I almost accomplished this yesterday though! I found out that I now wear size 6 in jeans. :) Ever since I've been concerned about my weight (basically ever since 8th grade) I've gone down from size 11 jeans to size 6. That's a heck of a lot of weight lost. What's sad is that I can wear the same size of shirt that I wore in 8th grade. I don't understand it. But enough blubbering. A style that I'm currently obsessed with is the military style and just.. edgy style. As everyone knows, I absolutley love anything black, edgy, studs, zippers, leather.. I love it. But, I also love military style too because it makes me feel like a tough girl. Even though I'm little, can't growl, and have dainty little hands, I love feeling powerful and kick ass every now and then. It's also very casual too which I like very much. And once you see Karolina Kurkova wearing something.... you obviously feel drawn to wear anything that resembles what she wore.

Explanation

Ok, so yet again I must explain why I've been gone for so long. Between work and school, I've had hardly any time to spare at all. I finally got my first paycheck last week though, so that helped to make things a bit better. :) Although I have to save most of it for Nursing School, I still allowed myself to splurge a bit on myself. I ended up and got a few dresses, a shirt, a couple of purses, and a pair of boots. And with my next coming paycheck, I'm still going to save a lot of it, but I'm going to take Boyfriend out on a date to Logan's Roadhouse since he's totally in love with steak. Anyways though, Christmas is coming up soon!! I can't believe that it's less than a week away! And I finally got my first day off last Friday and Saturday, and then I was off yesterday and get off Friday. Yesterday I was planning on doing laundry and cleaning my room and doing homework and everything, but I'm starting to get sick so I just stayed home and slept. I'm just starting to ramble, but I thought it would be a good idea to catch you guys up on everything. I'll post pictures of the new things that I've bought, and hopefully more posting during the Christmas Break!

I must apologize, I'm turning into one of those people whose whole life becomes just a blur and you trudge through the whole day just looking forward to being able to sleep. Thank God I don't have a kid right now. Otherwise,I would probably drop out of high school just so that I could get some sleep. Last night was eventful. I had the honor of being able to work until 11:15, so I didn't get home until about midnight. That was fun. And what's even better? The store was dead for the last two hours, so I had the best time with being able to do nothing at all. Sorry, I'm being a bit sarcastic. And grumpy. After working since last Monday and working every single day and not getting my first day off until Friday, I'm not really looking forward to it. Don't get me wrong, I love my job. But I want to get my rest more than anything. I get home around 10 or 11ish every single night, and usually try to stay up for about an hour or two to do homework, but I always end up falling asleep, and never being able to finish the homework and then getting yelled at by my teachers. Especially my English teacher. She's loving how I have absolutely no time to do my paper. Even though I've told her that I have to work every day and I'm not getting a day off until Friday, I'm going to work on it this weekend. Apparently, it doesn't matter that I wake up at 6 trying to get some homework done at the last minute, work on it until around 7, and then get ready for school and pack up clothes for work. I leave for school at 7:35, get to school at 8:00ish, leave school at 3:20, start work at around 4:00, and get home usually around10 or 11. Where am I supposed to eat, shower, do laundry, homework, play with my puppy, see Boyfriend, sleep... apparently none of that matters. This is turning into a grumpy rant, so I'm going to stop now. 

Quick Buys

So, my first official day of work was yesterday and it went soooo good! I absolutely love my job at T.J. Maxx so far, and I especially love the 10% employee discount that I get too. I start work at 4:00, and get off at 8:30 so far. On Friday and Saturday, I'll have to work later, but that's the schedule for so far. Any who, I have about 20 minutes extra from when I get out of school and have to go to work, so I decided to visit our new ULTA store and I was amazed. It wasn't nearly as big as I thought it would be, and I was hoping to see a bit more of a selection, but it was still very nice. I immediately migrated over towards the NYX section, and began browsing. Out of all the choices, I only chose 2 items because I was very limited on time. But what I did get, I'm very satisfied with. For now. I've realized that no matter what type of makeup you have, nothing lasts over a couple of hours. Especially those NYX jumbo eye pencils. I got one in the color French Fries and it's my absolutely favorite color, but it smears and gets into the creases of my eyelids after a couple of hours. And since I'm still working at that time, I can't take a break to fix it, so I'm left with smeary eyes. But besides that, I'm quite satisfied. I got..

Good News!

I just got a call and I got a job offer for T.J. Maxx!!! As many of you know, I'm basically in love with that store and I'm so beyond excited for it. I went to the job interview a couple of days ago and I thought it went really, really good. It sounded like the perfect job for me. I didn't want to jinx it or anything though because I wanted that job so badly. Ah... getting to work around clothes and shoes all day... Absolute bliss! And another thing that's fantastic about it is that they don't run like other department stores. You're busy all the time. Things can switch on the stop of a dime. You're never just the cashier, or just the stocker. You're whatever needs to be done at that time. And you get to work with people all day and actually get to interact with them as well as the store. It's supposed to teach you how to best manage your time, keep you busy, learn how to become organized, and a ton of other stuff which I'm sure I will figure out as soon as I start work. But, I'm truly excited about it because this is my first real job ever!!
