2 of my favorite places on earth? New York and Colorado. Yeah.. I haven't quite made it to New York yet, but everything that I hear about it makes me lust after it even more. Senior year is already almost a third of the way done, and now that I have to apply for collages and scholarships.. It's all becoming real and I'm starting to freak out a bit. One major thing concerning me? How on earth I'm going to pay for everything. I would love to attend a university in New York, so I began looking at housing/ apartments in that area. Anywhere that I go, my dog, Wally, is coming with me. So, I need some place that allows pets, preferably hardwood floors (it's easier to clean), some sort of patio or big windows, relatively convenient and close to a grocery, bookstore, and mall, and some place that's not in the heart of the city. Even though I'm a city girl at heart, I've lived in the country all my life and need to see some trees and grass every once in a while. So, the search for an apartment began and after lots of searching, found a place. What's fantastic about it? www.vacancy.com. Click on this link and look at this apartment. It's absolutely perfect and meets all of my requirements! If I change my mind and wanted to go to a university in Colorado? Just have to use this website and start searching (which I also did). Showed Wally these pictures on my laptop, and he wagged his tail. Not even kidding. He acted pretty happy... that makes two of us.
Look! Hardwood floors! Trees! Grass! Sky! And even a pool... with WATER! Only concern about this certain apartment though? It's $1000 rent. Compared to apartments here, that's about 5 times more expensive. You could rent a very large house for that a month. But, I do like it quite a lot.
