That makes two of us

2 of my favorite places on earth? New York and Colorado. Yeah.. I haven't quite made it to New York yet, but  everything that I hear about it makes me lust after it even more. Senior year is already almost a third of the way done, and now that I have to apply for collages and scholarships.. It's all becoming real and I'm starting to freak out a bit. One major thing concerning me? How on earth I'm going to pay for everything. I would love to attend a university in New York, so I began looking at housing/ apartments in that area. Anywhere that I go, my dog, Wally, is coming with me. So, I need some place that allows pets, preferably hardwood floors (it's easier to clean), some sort of patio or big windows, relatively convenient and close to a grocery, bookstore, and mall, and some place that's not in the heart of the city. Even though I'm a city girl at heart, I've lived in the country all my life and need to see some trees and grass every once in a while. So, the search for an apartment began and after lots of searching, found a place. What's fantastic about it? www.vacancy.com. Click on this link and look at this apartment. It's absolutely perfect and meets all of my requirements! If I change my mind and wanted to go to a university in Colorado? Just have to use this website and start searching (which I also did). Showed Wally these pictures on my laptop, and he wagged his tail. Not even kidding. He acted pretty happy... that makes two of us.

Look! Hardwood floors! Trees! Grass! Sky! And even a pool... with WATER! Only concern about this certain apartment though? It's $1000 rent. Compared to apartments here, that's about 5 times more expensive. You could rent a very large house for that a month. But, I do like it quite a lot.

Lace, leather, and fur

Of all the trends to ever exist, these are probably my favorite. On list of things to get? Lace dress, lace leggings, lace skirt, lace maxi dress, leather jacket, leather shorts, leather pants, leather skirt, fur coat, mongolian fur handbag...

Favorite color

I mentioned in the earlier post that burgundy was one of my favorite colors. So, thought I'd share the rest of my favorite colors to wear. It's quite simple- black, grey, white, blue, green, cream, and burgundy. Burgundy is usually for accessories, but none the less, I quite love it.
All of these pieces are only sold in the UK, but their website says that they're working on making it international. So, hopefully soon they'll keep their word. But until then..

New Project

I want this.
I know that it's kind of out there, and might even be considered ugly... But, I find this handbag absolutely neccesary for me to continue in life. Considering that U.S. trends haven't caught up the UK yet though, we don't have hardly any handbags available here like this one. So, what do I do to fix this? Make my own. I suppose I'll start out with a basic black or even better- canvas- handbag, as long on it has the black leather handles. Since I'm not very experienced, I'll probably take strips of fabric, sew feathers onto it somehow, and then sew the strips of fabric onto the handbag which is why canvas would come in handy. Speaking of canvas,  I have never came across a canvas handbag that I like. I'm more of the traditional leather handbag girl. But, while flipping through some of my old magazines, I saw a picture of a newspaper printed handbag and loved it. It's also sort of out there, but something about it catches my eye.
Oh, and another weird handbag I'm lusting over? This.

A mongolian fur handbag! And this is in the perfect color! I love burgundy-colored anything and fuzzy and fringe? I love it. Yet again, too bad this one is sold in the UK and not the USA..

Oh the places you'll go...

New York. Ever since I was a small child, I've always dreamed of going to New York. The weather, the food, the people, the shopping, the view... all of it would fit me so perfectly. A place where you don't know everyone in the town.. so many new opportunities.. my lust for life just grows exceptionally each time I envision this glorious new safe haven. I must go there..

Re-do

Ok, I lied. This is my new favorite shoe obsession. This is definitively a pair of shoes that I would wear more often and fits my regular style. Although, something about the orange leopard print just pulls me in..

Crazy in love!

Ok, so while taking a break from homework (cough cough, procrastinating) I stumbled upon a fashion blog that featured a pair of shoes that are so crazyily dramatic and over the top, I fell in love and feel the upmost need to have them.
You can change the ribbon tying it accordingly to  even just plain shoelaces. But, fact still remains that I am in love with these. A black circle skirt with a white v-neck tee? Totally loving the idea..
Sole Boutique. The color... the style.. the height... it must be made mine.
