Wow. So... I'm offically a little embarassed to be an American now. Don't get me wrong, it's freakin awesome. Besides being able to have an excuse for bad grammer, we get to blame being dependent on machienes and being overweight on our culture. It's very fascinating. Anyways, so I did a post awhile back about how to get an English accent, and the thought just popped into my head, how are you supposed to get an American accent? So, I used the trusted google and was... a bit dissapointed. One of the top links for "how to get an American accent" was for a lovely website called http://www.americanaccent.com/. Now, besides it being embarassing to have an actual website devoted entierly to getting an American accent, there is also an embarassing header to the website.It's some sort of mutant fish thing? I'm not for sure how this represents us Americans? But apparently, it serves it's purpose as being incredibly intruiging (bad spelling) to.. I'm actually not for really, but it's cool to somebody I suppose.
After getting over the mutant-fish thing, I got even more embarassed. Let me just re-type a sentence straight from their website... "It's actually easy to pick up the American accent. I....I...I'm actually at a loss of words about this. I have absolutley no comment.
